Self Love Collection - Made By ellemilla! ღ

Hi sweetheart! ღ
How I have been looking forward to this moment ... an important moment for myself, for ellemilla and for you!
I wrote at the end of 2019, early 2020 this blog post... I already mentioned that 2019 was a year full of routine ... too little creativity, too much the same! I was tired, tired of that routine! I missed designing and being able to brainstorm about my collections for hours, gain inspiration ... search for fabrics and feel them and then create pieces with them! 😊
And ellemillashop can be more than just scoring and selling nice outfits. I want to offer more than that, I want to surprise and dwell longer on the collections ... and I wish that not only myself but also you! I finally had to take action ... that was certain 💪
Hello new collection!
Today is a big day for me, for ellemilla and for you! Because for a few months now I have put words into action!
I went with my husband Ties to the fashion city of Antwerp on a weekend to get some inspiration, I spent hours brainstorming about a concept that I have had in my head since the creation of ellemillashop, I made mood boards and I know Pinterest by heart. ... my ideas and dreams just had to be turned into reality!
I spent my weekends in the cozy brainstorming room in the office with a quiet jazz music in the background, a cup of tea for me, cutting and sticking materials at hand, fashion books, Pinterest ... in short, a date with my own ideas hihi 😊 I loved that !!
Self Love
Since the inception of ellemilla it has always been my goal to make women - no matter what age, skin color, character ... - feel beautiful ... & reflect their inner self to the outside world through clothes that make them feel good ! 🎀
From that point of view, I started developing a concept with the aim of creating a beautiful collection with pieces that every woman feels good about! ❤️
Love Yourself!
I soon came up with the word 'Self Love'. I am convinced that Self Love is the secret to a positive self-image! Accepting yourself completely is a difficult thing ... accepting your own strengths and weaknesses, including those traits you would rather not know about.
Yet it is important because it helps you to really love yourself!If you like to see yourself and appreciate your own personality, you will automatically radiate that to the rest of the world ... and believe me ... nobody is perfect! But that shouldn't be at all ... But if you stay close to yourself and listen to what you want is already an important first step 😍Don't forget and dare to be yourself!
Time for action!
I came up with feel goodquotes on the theme of Self Love because I want you to be reminded every day thatyou must love yourself in the first place! I also like the idea that when someone reads these quotes on a sweater or shirt, they are also reminded of this 😊
It was a must for me to include the new ellemilla logo in the collection! The written font of 'em' in ellemilla provides a playful touch with the heart emphasizing self-love! The 'ღ' is the guiding principle throughout the new ellemilla story and is also often depicted separately on clothing, labels and so much more ... because it has such a strong recognizability 😊
Next on the program I had to brainstorm about: of course the type of clothing, the fabrics, the model and the design of the different logos!
Comfy shirts & sweaters
I was sure of one thing: I only wanted pieces that make you feel comfy all day long! Think of basic shirts, oversized shirts, shirts with a v-neck, basic sweaters and sweaters with a loose fit 🎀 I wanted enough variety so that you can choose a model that suits you best 😊
Personally, I quickly reach for a shirt or sweater, combined with a mom jeans for the simple reasons that I feel the most comfy in this and just myself! And you can do so many things with it ... in warmer weather you wear a sweater over a dress or combine a shirt with a skirt and voilà, you have nice different outfits! 👌
Intensive process
Girls, believe me ... I have seen and felt so many fabrics, you don't want to know! I wanted a fabric that you can wear all year round, that feels soft, that ventilates well and gives you the necessary freedom of movement! Every detail has been carefully thought out: the label on the side, the seams, the colors, the font and the fabric of the various logos! I only wanted the best of the best for you ... Everything had to be right because that is the only way to be 200% happy with it yourself 😍
After weeks of deciding and making choices, the big moment had arrived ... the delivery of the samples! 🤗 And WOW !!! That moment was so special ... one to never forget! ☺️ Yes also including a dance of joy hihi 🙈 Honestly, this collection exceeds all my expectations ... I am so happy and so proud of the result! That was well worth all the work of the past months ...

Can't say more about it ... Speechless! You just have to see, feel and perceive it! I think it is very exciting ... because in the first place I made this collection for you ... your opinion is the most important thing for me 😊
