Sabine you wear over your hips so not super high on your waist 😊 You can play with that a bit! The slit doesn't come that high either... The length of the skirt (size S) measures 89, so a good length 🎀 On me it comes a bit above the ankles.
The fabric moves along quite smoothly and also falls a bit wider at the bottom so it is not a tight pencil skirt.Then you have an idea! The waist doesn't stretch but it fits true to size.

You close the skirt with a silver button & zipper closure. And yes, there are also side pockets 🙏
